Nevaton’s ultra-flexible true condenser modular microphone system is the result of years of scientific research and development.
With seven different interchangeable capsules and four exceptional preamplifier options – all with outstanding technical parameters – it offers audio engineers and recording artists maximum flexibility.

The MC59 series enables the capture of the most subtle nuances in pristine quality across various settings, including concert halls, natural environments, film sets, and recording studios.
A wide selection of different interchangeable capsules are available:
- Omnidirectional (O)
- Omnidirectional+ (O+) – diffuse field equalized for recordings from distance
- Open wide cardioid (OW) – A directional pattern in between omnidirectional and wide cardioid
- Wide cardioid (W).
- Cardioid (C) – No reduced frequency response at low frequencies like common in that type of microphone, Very good front rear separation at low freq.
- Hypercardioid/Shotgun (H) – available as interchangeable capsule! Very linear frequency response for this type of microphone which makes it suitable for music recordings

Figure-8 is not available as a capsule, but as a single microphone with outstanding technical parameters
The MC59 preamp is offered in four distinct versions:
- Version “MC59” – features an integrated 3-pin XLRM-type connector, directly on the mic-body.
- Version “MC59-E” – features an integrated 3-pin XLRM-type connector, directly on the mic-body.
–> Extended functionality: -10dB switch & a switchable low cut at 100Hz (6dB/Oct) - Version “MC59S” – super-small & super-light, with a deducted connector – 3-pin XLR-type on cable.
- Version “MC59S-E” – super-small & super-light, with a deducted connector – 3-pin XLR-type on cable.
